Camp 2019
On Wednesday the 15th of May the year 8 from Pt England school went to a Leadership camp at Kauaeranga Valley Christian Camp, We spent two days and 3 night there we had lots of fun.
MAY 15 WEDNESDAY
On Wednesday I got to school at 7:55 the school was empty but 5 minutes later I saw my friends turn up so I went to them and they were dressed ready for camp. Then it was 8:30 then we went to class and had a meeting with the block, Then we went on the bus and off we go. It took an hour an a half to get there when we got there we had our morning tea then we went to our cabins to get our beds ready so we can sleep for the 1st night there.
MAY 16 THURSDAY
The next day we had our breakfast then we went to get dressed for our 1st rotation. The 1st rotation my team had it was paintball it would hurt if your near the other person but it wont hurt if your far away we had 10 shots each me. And my team got the flag and it was 3 to us and 1 to the other team after that we had morning tea. Then after that we had our 2nd rotation which was sports we played Basktball,Soccor,Netball, and touch. Then after sports we had go karts, Go Karts is like a car but you can make it at home. I was so nervous because it was my first time going on a Go Kart. It was really fun because it was fast and you can drift in it.
MAY 16 FRIDAY
On Friday we heard a buzzer and then we woke up and brush our teeth and did other stuff then we had our breakfast. After our breakfast we had a meeting with all the teachers and the other teams after our meeting we had to pack up so we can go back to school. When we cleaned up we put our bags outside and we in a big room and there was a stage in front of us with 9 blocks of chocolate. Each teacher got to hand out the chocolate but they had to eat it at home so then can share with there family. Then it was time to because 2 buses arrived to the location that we were at then before we went home we went to a Garden to have lunch then after our lunch we went around and had a look then one of the teachers went to get some food for the animals.

On the first week of school we had to do Writing a Narrative and I talked about Goldilocks and the Three bears if we finished that we were writing about our School Holidays.
